Here is our process designed to get you back to feeling great...

step one: Your Free initial consultation

In this initial meeting, you will have a one-on-one meeting with your clinician so you can discuss your case. We will discuss your medical history, and medications you are on, and your goals for your health. This is a no-pressure environment to give you the opportunity to see if we're a good fit for you, and for us to make sure we are confident we can help you before​ we move onto treatment.

Step two: comprehensive assessment & treatment plan

After your free consultation, if we agree we are a good fit, your next step is the Intake Appointment. This is when we will do a detailed assessment of your symptoms, medical history, and other factors to determine the root cause of your issue, then come up with a treatment plan to get you feeling better as quickly as possible.

This will also be when you have your first acupuncture treatment with us. Afterwards you will be given a treatment plan with exact, easy-to-follow instructions. It can include lifestyle adjustments, dietary recommendations, recommended exercise and stretches, as well as herbal medicines to address the root of your specific presentation.

Step Three: ​Continued care & Symptom relief

This is when we move forward with your treatment plan, and we make sure you will have a clear outline of what happens next. The treatment plan typically includes weekly or semi-weekly acupuncture sessions, herbal medicine, and mind body exercises you can do at home. This includes a clear estimate of how many session before you feel resolution of your symptoms. 

Step Four: Transition out of clinical care - 
​graduation!

Once all your symptoms are cleared and you’re back on your feet, you’re ready for “graduation”. We will have already started a reduction in the frequency of visits, and begin planning your exit treatment. We enjoy spending time with our patients, but we don't want you to live in the treatment room for the rest of your life! Many of our patients like to come in for periodic “maintenance” treatments and visits, but it’s entirely up to you.
