Qigong For Energy -Gathering Qi

Grounding the foot, opening the palms, and feeling the qi come down through the crown of the head - Gathering Qi is a simple, effective, and fun way to energize the body and calm the mind.

Step 1: Spread your feet about shoulder width apart and feel the connection to the ground through your feet.
Step 2: Bring your palms over your dantian, just below the belly button, and feel the connection to your qi.
Step 3: Circle the arms gathering qi from the earth, the air, and finally drawing it down from heaven through the top of the head.

There are 5 points that are open and receiving qi with this movement. The palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, and and the crown of the head. Imagine qi flowing into all of these points when doing this movement to increase its effectiveness.
